Patience

This car is taunting me.

It is begging me to come out and kick it for being a pain in my rear.

We got this minivan back when PJ got into his accident back in March of 2009.

It was cheap and it was available.(2 very good things)



 This Saturday night as we drove to my parents house from Provo at 10 pm.(during a snowstorm) this car decided it was done working for us. It got us to a gas station in West Jordan and it quit. (Luckily right around the corner from our good friends the Allens) So we called Justin who saved us and took the boys and myself to my moms house at 11:30pm and then PJ and Justin went back  to save the van.





 After using the code reader they found out it was our Cam shaft sensor that had gone out. So on Sunday my dad, PJ, and Nate went to Auto Zone to buy a new sensor and replaced it . After they were done replacing it they decided to drive it around the block to make sure it was good. They started it, then they put it in gear......

 and then it died again.





So fast forward to Monday morning as the boys and I watch as our minivan gets loaded onto a tow truck for its fun ride downtown to B&R. We waved as it left us and immediately betrayed our dear car by jumping onto the internet and pricing some SUVs.  



So later that afternoon I called our good friend Robert over at B&R tire to check the damage.

He let me know our car was ready to go and it would only cost us the price of towing. 

Ends up we fixed the car Sunday we just didn't give it the neccesary time to reset and go back to working order. 

So todays lesson patience is a virtue!!!

We don't always get quick fixes when it comes to getting things to work wether it be a car or our lifes.

So now that our car is back, we are setting out with another venture that will take patience, our family.

It has hit a time for us to worry about each other and help each other as we go down this long road to healing after Carters death.

So it is with great joy that I announce I am done with Facebook.

I will no longer use it as something to hide from my reality anymore and I will start spending time with my family and breaking down this wall that I built to keep others out  including my family.
