Day 7

Today I am thankful for music.

It can make you happy, sad, angry or peaceful. I love to sit down and turn on some music and dance or sing or just sit and listen.
Music touches our hearts in so many ways and it is different for each of us.
When James was in the hospital I was the only one who wasn't sick in our whole family immediate and extended so I was the only one who could go visit him a lot of the time. As I was driving to the hospital one day to see my baby I was overcome by emotion and stress and ended up pulling over on the side of the freeway (People probably thought I was crazy) I sat there and I cried and then Carrie Underwoods song "Jesus Take the wheel" came on I sat and I cried even harder and then I prayed.
"Jesus, take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own

I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on

Oh Jesus, take the wheel
Oh, I'm letting go"
I have also found this song very comforting during our time after Carters passing. When you have a child pass away it is very hard on so many different levels. You can feel so lonely when you are surrounded by many people who love you. I always have one song or another going through my head at all times it helps me more than I could ever explain.

I am very thankful for music and the different ways that it can help us cope and heal.

I love that song as well. It still breaks my heart about your little baby. You are trying so hard to be thankful. I admire that. I wish only the best to come your way. ((((HUGS)))
