James is one of the big kids

So James let us know today at dinner at my moms house that it was time for him to sit with the big kids. As we sat out chairs for braden and emma, James immediatly came over to the table and showed us where his chair needed to be. He sat the whole time with them ate a cheese burrito just like the rest of the big kids. He looked so proud of himself to be up there with his big brother. Later on he proved more that it was time to consider him a big kid by repeating all of Bradens bed time ritual, Goodnights to Mama and Bampa prayers with mommy and having a stuffed animal to sleep with. Now of course you could understand braden a little bit better than James. But he has picked up on some things like he now says "whats that" it all ran together but it is very clear what he is saying. Also on the learning new things James has taken his first steps!!!! His highest total is 3 steps in a row but hey he's getting there. With all this acting like a big kid we try to make him feel like he is one but between you and me he's still my baby.
